MazzocchiooTalks#11: Kersten Geers & Bas Princen
On Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at 5:30 PM, in the Auditorium Hall of the National Museum of Art of Romania in Bucharest, Mazzocchioo.Talks presented its 11th conference, featuring Belgian architect and professor Kersten Geers and Dutch artist and photographer Bas Princen.
The conference was complemented by the exhibition Studies on Bucharest – Anatomy of a City, showcasing proposals for the reuse of the industrial heritage of thermal plants within the city center, developed by third-year students from the Mazzocchioo studio at UAUIM. Additionally, we launched the 11th issue of Mazzocchioo magazine, Form of Things, which includes in-depth interviews with Kersten Geers, Bas Princen, and Matteo Ghidoni, as well as an epilogue generously contributed by Go Hasegawa — an interview conducted by him with Kersten Geers and David Van Severen, part of his European Interviews book and research.
This cultural project was organized by Mazzocchioo with the support of the Bucharest Branch of the Romanian Order of Architects and was financed by the Romanian Order of Architects through the Architecture Stamp Funding Programme.
